Hi everyone,

My name is Mylène Coulombe-Gratton :) For as long as I can remember, regardless of the season, my parents have made me appreciate everything  nature has to offer.  Which is why I am here today – it’s my turn to share my passion for the great outdoors . I can assist you as you experience the pleasures of spending time ¨in the bush¨ or on lakes and rivers.  I can also be your certified tour guide for specific destinations.  I invite you to browse through my website to find out more about me, and, if you don’t want to miss any of my adventures, be sure to follow me on social media @ Follow her north.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY

I reached out to Mylene in January 2022 asking if she would organize a weekend canoe trip for a group of girls. Mylene was so enthusiastic about the idea and we quickly came up with a date. She made this so easy for us; providing the majority of the equipment needed and planned all our meals for the weekend. Our trek was a 40km route with a few rapids ( C1-C2T) She gave us a course on how to read the rapids. Ok so we were far from good but the experience really got us out of our comfort zone. She taught us how to portage and line through one rapid. We camped next to a beautiful falls ( Beaver Rapids) Mylene is a strong believer in cooking her meals on an open fire and that’s what she did! She told us she loves to cook and proved it with the delicious meals including the very best Bannock and Bacon & Egg Muffins I have ever ate! No lie! The best!! The whole organization of the trip was beyond expectation. Don’t let Mylene’s young age fool you! This girl knows more than her Dad !! ( shhhhh… don’t tell him that) She was raised on the river as a child and is very confident in sharing her knowledge and skills! Thank you again Mylene. We enjoyed our experience and will cherish these memories forever! Thank you RIVER GIRL ! I recommend FHN to anyone!!

We just returned from a guided ride to James Bay and Moosonee.

We had a great few days. Almost 900kms of riding in 3 days, but a good 600kms of that was off trail on river beds, power lines, or through the bush to get around rapids and open water.

Our accommodations at Onakawana Camp were amazing. Talk about saying you are in the middle of nowhere, I doubt there was anything in 100kms in any direction. Our guides Mylene and Dany (Father and Daughter) were just incredible and to see 19 year old Mylene handle a sled was just amazing. That woman could ride circles around most riders and the love for the outdoors the two of them had made the trip just that much better. I would highly recommend using her guiding services for anything off road be it snowmobiles, adventure bikes or ATV adventures in the north.

I had the opportunity to go with Follow Her North to Fort Albany along the mighty James/Hudson Bay in January of 2024.

This was a trip of a lifetime to explore parts of Ontario that 99% of people will never see, experience, or witness in their lifetime.

Mylene and the team at Follow Her North made the trip completely stress free so I could just ride and "follow her north" to explore the wonderful First Nations territory.

I can't highly recommend this trip enough as it was a riding experience I'll never forget and a cultural experience I'll cherish for the rest of my life!
