Canoeing

Canoeing has been part of my life since a young age. I have developed a true passion for it 2 years ago when I left to go get trained as a white water / expedition canoeing guide for 42 days (River Roots Program). I fell in love! It is such a great way to spend time outdoors, explore beautiful waterfalls, challenge yourself and experience adrenaline. You should see the smile on my face just by writing this!

Paddle Nights

From 6-9pm, Wednesday nights

This summer, come paddle with us. We will paddle different lakes, rivers and creeks. Expand your paddling skills on Paddle Nights! Learn from your guide and from other paddlers. Have fun and gain paddling experience!

Paddle The North

1 day - Beginner, Moderate, Advance

Choose the level/river that works for your skills. Which ever you choose, you will learn new things, challenge yourself and most of all discover many beauties of our region.

Thunder House Fly Out

9 days - Intermediate

Together we will travel 145kms over 9 days, playing and practising our whitewater skills in Class I to Class III rapids as we make our way to Bull Moose Bay. We begin our adventure on this middle section of the Missinaibi River at a secluded bush road access point referred to as ‘Camp 95’.  And fly out at Bell's Bay. This trip really focuses on traveling through the most amazing spots on the Missinaibi!

2 days Pivabiska River

2 days - Beginner to moderate

Leave from Lake Ste-Thérèse and paddle the Pivabiska River going down many rapids and 2 portage. Perfect weekend trip. All inclusive.

4 days Pivabiska River

4 days - Moderate

Leave from Lake Ste-Thérèse and paddle the Pivabiska River (160km) going down many class 1 rapids. Fly-Out with Hearst Air Service.

2 days Missinaibi River

2 days - Moderate

Awesome weekend trip. Challenge yourself and see many of the beauties that the Missinaibi river has to offer.

4 days Missinaibi River

4 days - Advance

The sceneries you get to see on those 4 days are hard to forget and they amaze you each time.  Prepare to challenge yourself and get out of your comfort zone.

Custom Trips

Custom trips can happen on all the rivers around Hearst.  We get in touch and we figure out which river fits your needs, your skills and the amount of days you want you trip to be. When requesting a custom trip, make sure to tell me how many days you are thinking of, which river, how many people, if you need all inclusive or you have your own gear because these details will affect your price quote that I will custom build for you. Customs trips can be done by freigher canoe or by paddling canoe, kayaks.
